Every Thursday evening from 5 to 9 p.m., enjoy an evening stroll through the downtown San José del Cabo Gallery District. The weekly Art Walk has become a tradition and one of our area’s warmest and most popular social events, closing off the main street to foot traffic, and opening the many interesting local galleries.

The event is a great way for visitors — and locals too — to get out and discover area arts and artists, all while enjoying wine and dining in authentic neighborhood restaurants. It’s the perfect relaxing social evening for everyone. And more often than not, local galleries will have special events like “artist in attendance” as well as unveiling new exhibitions. Art Walk is a must-do event worth saving the evening for.

Start with a walk through the main square, visit the local shops and vendors around it and get to the street of Alvaro Obregon, also known as the Art District, and let your special evening get started!
